Jo Thorburn Graduated from ACU Melbourne in 2016

Jo has worked in diverse settings including Schools, Universities, Hospitals, G.P. Clinics and Private practice.

Jo’s areas of interest include treating Children, Adolescents, and Adults, presenting with a range of issues such as: Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Adjustment difficulties, Parenting Difficulties, Relationship Difficulties, Disability, Panic, Grief and Loss, Learning and Educational Difficulties, Living with Chronic Pain and Medical Diagnoses.

Jo utilises an Integrative approach to her work that is Evidenced based and Individualised to each client’s unique needs.  Jo draws upon a range of interventional techniques including: CBT, ACT, CFT, SFT, Mindfulness, Experiential, Creative Arts and Writing. Jo is a registered provider with Medicare, most Major Private Health Funds, TAC and NDIS. Jo is able to provide services with a G.P. referral or on a full fee paying basis.  Bulk billing options are also available for Pensioners and Full Time Students with a G.P. referral through Medicare.
